Energy Management & Monitoring


The WorkOasis Energy Management and Monitoring application provides you with the ability to document the energy operating profile and practices of each site. Site based operating information is critical for indentifying operational energy conservation measures (equipment run times, control settings, maintenance defects); low cost energy upgrades (material standards, insulation, LED lighting replacement products) and capital replacement needs (lighting, HVAC equipment and controls).

You can use this application as a supplement to the property and facility management inspection process. When you assign equipment and assets to a particular location, WorkOasis will automatically build a site energy management template allowing you to easily document the hours of operation, set points, and features of each energy consuming asset. Lighting products and systems can be tracked in a separate tab, including the ability to add notes regarding replacement products and recycling requirements.

The application also allows you and/or your survey vendor to list the energy conservation measures (ECM’s) for each site, aiding the maintenance and capital planning process.

WorkOasis can be integrated with energy management system providers, enabling you to view the energy operating characteristics of each building, respond to energy alarms and thresholds, and monitor critical systems (equipment failures, refrigerant leaks, and environmental conditions). This functionality requires investment in the energy management system technology and monitoring infrastructure that is outside of the scope of the WorkOasis product, however, WorkOasis provides a tab within its sustainability program, for linking with 3rd party providers, giving you a single platform for managing your facility and energy management needs. Features and functions vary by each EMS system provider but can include everything from basic monitoring to full integration of work order entry and contractor check-in and checkout via the EMS panel.
